In the Osterberger wine cellar, in Hotel Mitra Ptuj, we offer our hotel guests and external visitors tours of the cellar and wine tastings. In addition to tasting top local Slovenian wines, you will also learn about the story of the Mitra Hotel, the Osterberger wine cellar and Styrian wine culture. We recommend tasting three, four or five wine samples, which our staff will recommend to you according to your taste. During the tasting, the Hotel Mitra staff also provides a culinary experience, serving local cheeses, dried fruits, and by request also cold cuts, fruit, etc.
The Osterberger wine cellar is the perfect place for small intimate celebrations or gatherings. By request, we can also serve dinner, finger food and arrange for live or ambient music during the tasting.
The Osterberger Wine Cellar can accommodate up to 40 people. You can visit the cellar at any time, but for larger groups, reservations at the Hotel Mitra Ptuj reception are recommended.
You can also choose to buy any of the wines you have tasted and want to take home for yourself or your friends. For easier transport, we also offer a beautifully designed, easy to carry box with each bottle.
A wine tasting includes the wine samples, a traditional snack and presentation of the wine culture and histor of Ptuj and the Styrian wine growing region.
